TxtingRights allows you to send and receive texts from that number, right from your computer on either the Web App or the Desktop App. The web app acts as your contact management hub and is accessed through an Internet browser by logging in at www.textingrights.com/login. Our desktop app is downloaded and stored in your computer’s system tray and allows you to view and reply to incoming texts when you are away from the web app.
TxtingRights is required to verify every landline and toll free phone number to ensure proper ownership and protect the text message medium from unwanted solicitation abuse. To do that, a representative must call you either at the phone number you activated or your contact number. After answering a few short questions about yourself and your business, you'll be ready to start texting in a few minutes.

Our packages are from month-to-month starting from the date we have verified your account. We make it easy to start and stop your service at any time. We also have an annual fee for your number reservation.
Since TxtingRights is a completely independent service from your landline or toll free phone carrier, there's no need to notify your provider about it. Please note, TxtingRights is a separate monthly charge not included on your telephone bill.

Any business or home landline number can be reserved and text enabled.If the number is not currently assigned as a voiceline, it can be reserved immediately.If it is currently in use as a voiceline, there is a 60 day waiting period, during which txtingRights will work on your behalf to secure the right to text on that number for you.

You have the first option to purchase your number. If someone would like to reserve your number, you will be contacted. It will be given to the interested buyer if you do not purchase it in 30 days.
